Her years of research, travel and advanced training in esthetics led her create a spa offering a variety of services: facials, make-up application and instruction, waxing, manicures and pedicures, herbal wraps and massage. The Face & The Body was the original day spa in St. Louis, pioneering a health and beauty movement throughout our area.
As it grew, the Spa expanded its service offerings, including a wider variety of specialized facials and body treatments. Peggy created an innovative and effective “house brand” of skin care products and cosmetics,
Santé, initiating an on-going dedication to providing
clients with effective home-care products to maintain and enhance the benefits they receive from their spa services. The spa moved from its original Clayton Road location to Forsyth. Eventually,
The Salon @ The Face & The Body was added, allowing the spa to offer clients a one-stop-shop for head to toe health, wellness and beauty treatments.
Gaining in popularity, the original Clayton spa became booked to capacity with demand for services only growing. In 1997, a second Spa opened in Chesterfield and was an immediate success. O’Fallon opened in 2001, extending
The Face & The Body’s services to clients in a rapidly-growing part of our region. In an effort to provide more convenience and an up-to-date environment for clients, the Clayton spa moved to Brentwood in 2005 and created a new facility fusing western technology with eastern aesthetics for a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The Face & The Body Day Spas receive local and national recognition on a regular basis and are active throughout the community. The company places an emphasis on education for both staff and clients, and continues to look for new opportunities to provide state-of-the-art health, wellness and beauty services and products.
