Who benefits from Photo Facials?
People of all ages can benefit from Photo Facials to improve conditions that come with environmental aging and heredity factors.  Clients in their 20s are using Photo Facials as part of their anti-aging program to look as good as they can for as long as possible.

What does my skin look like immediately after and how soon can I apply make-up?
Your skin may feel warm and be pink in color.  Occasionally there can be some mild redness and swelling.  The brown spots on your skin may darken before they flake off over a period of 7 to 10 days.  Make-up may be worn immediately and most people return to their regular schedule right after their treatment.

What is the process?
The treatment area is cleansed and a cool gel is applied.  When the pulse of light is delivered, the sensation is similar to the snap of a rubber band.  After the treatment, the skin is cleansed and an aloe vera gel is applied.  Treatment times vary from 15 to 45 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

Can I suntan and receive Photo Facials?
Since the IPL light source is attracted to the darker pigment in your skin we are unable to perform these treatments on tanned skin.  We also request that you discontinue the use of self-tanners during your sessions.

Will I need more than one treatment?
For best results, a series of five sessions are recommended.  Results vary according to the area being treated and individual skin conditions.
